The OGRE is not your typical 3D printer. Its design is based on a philosophy of cost‐efficiency and sustainability. With this in mind, The OGRE is able to print directly from plastic pellets, rather than use costly plastic filaments. The centerpiece of the design is the unique, vertical pellet‐to‐print auger extruder. Having pellet extrusion technology integrated directly into the 3D printer not only reduces the long term cost of operating the printer, but it also provides the unprecedented flexibility to be able to print from virtually any recycled shredded plastic. This innovation will revolutionize the 3D printing landscape by providing a versatile, affordable and environmentally friendly solution.
